Meet our Experienced Team of Providers

 

Emily Francis, M.D.

Dr. Francis has been with the practice since 1995.  Dr. Francis received her medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School and completed her residency there as well.

Dr. Francis is board certified by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.  Dr. Francis is an active physician on the medical staff at Sentara Williamsburg Community Hospital.

She has been a dedicated equestrian for over 20 years and loves to garden.

Kristy Keller, M.D.

Dr. Keller is passionate about providing well-rounded Ob/Gyn care.  She loves spending time with women of all ages to improve their health and well-being, offering medical and surgical options.   She is a board certified Ob/Gyn.

She is originally from Michigan and graduated from the University of Michigan Medical School.  She completed her Ob/Gyn training at the University of Virginia, and settled with her family in Williamsburg in 2006.

Dr. Keller loves spending time with her husband and their two children.  She is an avid reader and loves to travel.

Benjamin Isbell, M.D.

Dr. Benjamin Isbell is originally from Durham, NC.  He attended Duke University for his undergraduate education.  He is a lifelong Blue Devil fan.  He attended Washington University in St. Louis School of Law and earned his law degree in 1996.  He graduated from the UNC School of medicine in 2005.  He completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Virginia and served as administrative Chief Resident in his final year.  He joined Williamsburg Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2009.  Dr. Isbell has a wife and three children.  His special interests are Obstetrics and vaginal surgery.  Dr. Isbell is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Meghan Theis, MPA,PA-C,MSCP

Meghan graduated magna cum laude from James Madison University and earned her Master’s degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is licensed by the Virginia Board of Medicine.

She is an active member of the American Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (ASCCP), The International Menopause Society (IMS), The Menopause Society and is a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP). 

Before joining Williamsburg OB/GYN in 2019 she practiced in Emergency Medicine and Acute Care for many years. She is experienced in treating both acute obstetrical and gynecological patients as well as routine well woman care. She enjoys all aspects of preventative care with a special interest in office-based procedures, gynecological endocrinology and perimenopause/menopause management.

Kregan N.W. Brault, DNP, CNM

Mrs. Brault has always been intrigued by the miracle of pregnancy and childbirth. She has dedicated her education and career to providing women and their families with holistic medical support and education during this life-changing event. Mrs. Brault has assisted families in Williamsburg, VA for years as a labor and delivery nurse. Because of her passion for women's health, she returned to school to receive her Master's in Nursing from Frontier Nursing University. She earned her certification in Nurse Midwifery from the American Midwifery Certification Board. She also earned her Doctorate in Advanced Nursing Practice from Old Dominion University. Mrs. Brault is a resident of Williamsburg. She is married and has a teenage daughter. She enjoys time with her family, recreation on the water, baking and DYI projects.

Sandra Voll, CNM

Sandra Voll has been dedicated to Women's Health for over 35 years. It all started during the transition from Intensive Care to Women's Health - telling women about their bodies and what to expect. She has cared for women in many different care settings. It is so important for women to have a say in their experience, their birthing, and other choices. Sandy is a Certified Nurse Midwife (Georgetown University), Women's Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nure Practitioner (VCU). She taught for 9 years at VCU School of Nursing.

Angela Hale, CNM, PMH-C

Angela has a passion for the midwifery model of care and after receiving excellent midwifery care during her own pregnancies decided to pursue midwifery as her life's work. After graduating with her BSN from Union University she worked at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital first as a trauma med/surg nurse before transferring to the high-risk labor and delivery unit where she participated in caring for high acuity conditions in both mothers and newborns. She received her master's in nurse-midwifery from Bethel University. She has a special interest in working with disadvantaged populations and high-risk pregnancies. She is originally from Tennessee but moved to Virginia fulfill a service requirement with the Nurse Corp by working in a medically underserved area after graduating with her undergraduate. She enjoys spending time with her husband and their three children by hiking, going on local adventures, and traveling.

Susanna Bose, WHNP-BC

Susanna received a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University and Master’s of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama. She is board certified as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner by the National Certification Corporation. She was formerly a labor and delivery nurse at Sentara Williamsburg and developed a passion for patient education and caring for women. Susanna is a Williamsburg native. She enjoys spending time with her husband and three boys, being on the water, staying active, reading and baking.

Colleen Howard, MSN, FNP-C

Colleen graduated from Virginia Tech as a NCAA student-athlete with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. She then began her nursing career first at VPCC obtaining her Associates of Nursing, then at Capella University, obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Nursing while working in the ICU. Motivated by a desire to make a direct impact on patients' lives within her community, she pursued a Master of Science in Nursing degree with a specialization in Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) from Walden University, graduating magna cum laude. In addition to Colleen’s professional pursuits, she is blessed to be happily married with a son. Originally from Maryland, she has embraced the vibrant community of Williamsburg as her home. Colleen’s passion for women's health and obstetric care stems from a genuine desire to empower women. She is dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care that addresses the unique needs and concerns of women across the lifespan.

Janice Whitley, MSN, APRN, FNP-C

Janice initially received her associate’s degree in nursing from Rappahannock Community College, from there she quickly completed her studies to receive her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Radford University. Janice then received her Master of Science in Nursing from Old Dominion University. She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Janice spent 5 years as a labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum nurse at Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center. During this time, she grew to have a love and respect for women and their overall health. When not at work, Janice enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 beautiful children, reading a good book, and traveling.
